Stephen Yu Xin Xiang

I co-founded Pretty Much Films along with 2 great friends in 2021. I am currently working mainly as a Producer and Writer.

I'm interested in photography, filmmaking, and generally creating stories.

 

I believe in the importance of telling a story through film. I strive to incorporate a story into everything I produce, be it photography or filmmaking. A story to me is the best way to express yourself fully. Telling just about anyone a story allows me to bring him or her to a whole new place, a place that I have personally created. 

To me, short films are a peek into a moment of another life, discovering the one-of-a-kind difference in everyone.
 

Producing a film can never be done alone, simply because no one is a master of everything. Working with others really excites me, by doing so I get to see the same thing from varying perspectives, ultimately arising into a one-of-a-kind product. 

 

I am really open to different ideas as they help me build upon my own.
